Spring Break Must Haves

Spring break is a mere 8 days away so naturally i've turned to shopping to pass the time. Above are a few key pieces I've acquired into my wardrobe for the upcoming holiday of beach combing, cocktailing, and just being lazy. The first picture is of my new favorite thing, spring break ASOS tank of which i will be getting much use of. Second, the floppy hat, a must have for hot days at the beach fighting early signs of aging. Thirdly, the Leni Fawcett bikini in Army by Insight. and finally the classic denim short paired with a cropped top as worn with the fabulous Alessandra Ambrosio. Happy Spring!

Siwy Denim

 

The best jeans in the world. For those of us who don't necessarily have the biggest booties, they're perfect. I don't know what it is about this designer but everything from their jeans (my favorite is the hannah crop) to their denim shorts (camilla) is fabulous, you instantly feel sexier when you slip them on. Who doesn't love that? I wore my last pair into the ground, gaping holes and all. Celebs like Meghan Fox shown above, Rachel Bilson, Nichole Richie, Kate Moss, and Miley rock this label and their washes are only getting better.

Spring Cleaning

Spring is in the air, time to revamp my wardrobe. Spring for me means jean shorts, jeweled strappy sandals, and lots of flowy tops. This year I am aspiring for 70's coke whore chic... minus the cocaine of course. Following in the fashion footsteps of those such as Edie Sedgwick, Nicole Richie circa 2006, and my mother back in her hippie days. The Bohemian effortlessness is so ideal for those hot spring days in Chucktown biking to class or grabbing coffee with a friend. Winter Kate embodies all of what this style should be. I can't wait to place my order for this red flying fox jacket shown above. I'm also tempted to try the 70's flare jeans shown fabulously on January Jones, but being 5'2'' I think I should forego this trend... peace and love

Doing the usual online shopping, I have thus come upon my inspiration for my future house/apt. Now if I could find said house/apt.... crossing my fingers

Pre V-day

So I'm getting pretty excited for Valentines Day, even though I really have no reason to be seeing as my boyfriend is 300 miles away. On the bright side this holiday revolves around everything I'm obsessed with; glitter, pink, flower, chocolate, fantasy, and romance. If I had my way my house would be decorated for valentines all year long. However, to avoid odd inquiries I stick to the standard 14 days. While I know my expectations will not be met this coming holiday, I can fantasize through these and a few more upcoming photos I've picked out for you. Warning to all girls: don't get your hopes up. But do indulge yourself, we all deserve it. <3
